A Message From Our CEO, Erika Tyburski

Dec 23, 2024Sanguina Inc

Last year, I said I was most excited about our upcoming lineup of launches, partnerships, and products. I'm proud to say this year did not disappoint.

2024 has been a year of partnerships. While I can't reveal everything just yet, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible power of collaboration and camaraderie. We've accomplished more than I ever imagined, with pilots and custom products now spanning four continents!

I am thankful for all of the partners who have accelerated the accessibility of our technologies to women, children, and those with chronic and rare diseases. Thank you to all of the partners who believe in us and work with us every day to improve healthcare!

I'm also pleased to report that our longstanding support from the National Institutes of Health continues. We were honored to be named a grand prize winner in the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) Maternal Health Challenge. Our work in serving pregnant and post-partum women is only beginning.

Several have asked me, "What are you looking forward to most in 2025?"

I'm looking forward to beating the buzzwords. There is a lot of discussion on how to tackle "health equity," "access," and "value-based care," but very few companies and technologies have solutions.

We do.

Our technologies are designed with one goal: to be the most accessible solution for anemia management. This year, in the US alone, 36,631 new users engaged with our app 427,069 times. We extended our reach by piloting our smartphone app across diverse settings—including urban centers, rural communities, and homes. We're advancing health equity by bringing our technology to even the most remote locations. Our ability to provide quantitative, objective support anywhere enables us to truly test value-based care and implement more sustainable solutions.

Finally, I also look forward to developing and launching a new product (or two). If you're looking for a hint, just click your heels three times.

Happy holidays, and here's to a very happy, healthy new year!

Erika
